Dr. William Kaser began working at Brewster Veterinary Hospital in 2010 and became practice owner in 2015 through a partnership with Veterinary Associates of Cape Cod. Today, he serves as Brewster Veterinary Hospital’s Medical Director, leading the hospital with a dedication to compassionate, high-quality care.
A native of Cape Cod, Dr. Kaser earned his undergraduate degrees from Cape Cod Community College and Murray State before attending the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Since then, he has built a career in general practice, with professional interests in internal medicine, general surgery, and dentistry. He was also one of the original founders of Cape Cod’s only emergency and specialty hospital in Dennis, Massachusetts. Dr. Kaser is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association, and he is federally accredited.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Kaser is deeply committed to the community. He continues to serve on the board of the Sampson Fund for Veterinary Care for over 10 years, helping ensure that pets in need receive lifesaving medical treatment. He also works closely with the Brewster Dog Park to promote the safety, health, and well-being of the dogs who visit.
At home in Brewster, Dr. Kaser lives with his wife Megan, their three children, and a lively menagerie of pets and farm animals, including dogs, cats, sheep, chickens, geese, ducks, and goats. When he isn’t at the hospital, he enjoys spending time outdoors and working on his hobby farm.
